San Francisco
What to wear in the city by the bay? That depends on where you go. Here's a fashion guide to help you pack when your destination is one of the most beautiful cities in America.
LAYER UP
The most important thing to remember when heading off to the foggy city is the temperate climate. Even in the dry summer, temperatures rarely break 80 degrees. As Mark Twain commented, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Layering is key. Wear a tee under a sweater, a blouse beneath a jacket or a knit wrap so you're prepared when the fog lifts and the sun shines.
IN THE TRENCH
Our favorite jacket for Frisco is the trench coat, lightweight and always stylish in a downpour, drizzle, or sunshine. Shop for one in classic beige or black, or go for the new brights to make your own fashion statement.
BLAZE ON
The new fitted, short blazer is perfect for traveling. We have many styles to choose from. They dress up a skirt, look great with jeans, and are right on trend over a dress.
WRAP IT UP
Carry a lightweight knit wrap everywhere! This versatile accessory will keep you surprisingly warm, and when not in use, you can tie it stylishly to your purse strap. For dinner, the wrap saves the day with a dramatic drape across your shoulders.
